The best time to visit Southern Vietnam is months from December to April or May. The rainy season in South Vietnam lasts from May to October.

Indian Travelers will need a tourist visa to visit Vietnam.
Vietnam has visa on arrival for Indian Passport holders. You can apply for visa on arrival online before traveling to save time at airport.
To apply for a Vietnam visa as an Indian passport holder, take the following steps:
- Visit www.VietnamVisa.govt.vn.
- Complete the online visa application form.
- Obtain a visa-on-arrival (VOA) approval letter. You will use this letter at the airport in Vietnam to pick up your visa.
After applying online, Indians arriving into Vietnam can get their visa on arrival at one of Vietnam’s participating international airports, including Ha Noi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Nha Trang.
Pay ₹1200 ($17) for e-Visa and get visa letter + ₹1800 ($25) Stamping fee payable at the airport.
