Summer months of June to August are the best months to visit Iceland for all-round outdoor activities like hiking, horse riding, whale- and puffin- spotting. The days are especially long in summer, peaking June – July during the Midnight Sun, when it’s never truly dark. Must be an Experience!
If Northern Lights are a must-see in your Iceland Trip. Best time to see northern lights in Iceland is September to April. With February to March, and then September to October, being the best months. Although, there’s no guarantee you’ll get to witness the amazing spectacle. But Hopefully you will see those beautiful northern lights.
Iceland falls in the south of Arctic Circle, Nights are light from May to early august. In June, Sun never really sets in northern region.
In Winter, The tourism functions between October to may, The inlands in completely off limit. Majority of Travelers and agents catch up on northern lights, glaciar exploration during their winter times in Iceland.
December to Feb are the iciest months for Iceland.
Indian Travelers will need a tourist visa to visit Iceland.
